The company
An idea among friends
The discovery of the Paulownia tree by founder Daniel marks the conception of Treesition. Convinced of the opportunities it represented, he introduced the tree to his friend Michaël, with whom the desire to create a business together was on their mind for several years. He was quickly won over. After numerous visits of Paulownia nurseries to deepen their knowledge, they put their heads together in 2018 to start building the foundations of the company. The project very naturally turned towards agroforestry, with the aim of combating climatic incidents. Treesition evolved over the years and registered in 2021 thanks to our diverse team which has continued to grow. But the story doesn't end there, the adventure has only just begun!

A desire to help farmers
By connecting farmers to organic farming experts, digital farming specialists, recognized agroforestry stakeholders and funding sources, we are committed to supporting them in their transition towards a more sustainable agricultural model. We propose a customized and cost effective solution all while maintaining our global mission of helping to preserve our ecosystem.
The 4 pillars of a circular economy
Through a choice of flexible financial schemes, companies and individuals have the opportunity to invest in the trees that Treesition plants and receive a profit after 10 years thanks to the sale of the wood. This also allows them to offset their greenhouse gas emissions.
The timber from our trees is sold to individuals and SMEs in the wood industry. A percentage of the profits go back to eco-investors and the farmers.
Our organic farming consulting service uses digital tools to help farmers improve the management of their crops. This expertise is offered free of charge to farmers wishing to implement our agroforestry model on their plots.
Fruits, veggies, cereals and livestock are farmed on the land applying our agroforestry method, in an ethical manner and are then are sold to individuals, wholesalers and restaurants.
The heart of Treesition's circular economy is our planet's trees - of course! the Earth's lungs and natural CO₂ pumps.
The trees are beneficial to investors, from a financial point of view but also from an ecological point of view, since the CO₂ absorbed partly offsets their greenhouse gas emissions.
For the farmers, the benefits are also dual: financial as well as biological. The roots of the Paulownia trees bring nutrients to the surface, stabilizing the soil for cultivation and increasing its water contents, which in turn also helps to combat landslides and drought.
Organic matter such as fallen branches and leaves enrich the soil or provide fodder for livestock. The trees also attract different species of insects from those present on conventional agricultural plots, such as pollinating insects, which increase biodiversity.
Trees at the heart of it all
A European-scale project
Treesition is established across Europe to allow as many farmers as possible to benefit from additional income as well as a sustainable farming method. By involving a maximum number of stakeholders in our model, we collectively make a positive impact on our planet and pave the path to a lasting solution to the global environmental crisis. The snowball effect of this circular economy allows us all to take immediate action for a greener future.
