The Concept

We combined tangible investment with tree growing on agricultural plots.
Our concept was designed to be socially equitable, economically viable and, above all, respectful of local flora and fauna.

Tangible Investment, what is it?

Also known as 'Atypical Financial Assets’,  tangible investments are financial products that offer the possibility of a financial return (sic the French Financial Markets Authority). These ‘alternative’ investments concern renewable energies, watches, wine, art or even trees...

And what exactly brings Treesition's model to farming?

Next-Generation Agriculture

Treesition has developed a model of agroforestry with Paulownias. These are entirely managed by our company: from planting to cutting, including pruning.

So, what is Agroforestry?

Agroforestry is a sustainable farming method that has existed for over 7,000 years, combining trees with crops, forestry, agriculture or livestock, with the aim of achieving mutual benefits. There are 3 types of agroforestry, where Treesition exercises: agrisilviculture, which combines crops and trees, silvopastoralism combining breeding animals and trees and agrosilvopastoralisme joining trees, crops and livestock.

Any advantages?

Profitable, you say ?

Whether for farmers, eco-investors or Treesition, the profitability of the model makes it viable. Treesition's intervention in a farm is free for a farmer, and even allows a financial gain, whether for agricultural consulting or for the implementation of agroforestry on their plots.

In addition, the organic farming implemented is as affordable as conventional farming and promises the same yields.

Green investment on trees are a guaranteed gain for eco-investors through the sale of Paulownia wood.

Finally, we have estimated the operational costs involved in growing a single tree. The attached infographic shows that the cost of planting and maintaining a tree is covered by the purchase of a Paulownia SereniTree.
